It has five different colors in it and includes some distressing and antique details to make it seem like it just arrived from the antique store. "Dry-brushing" is used to darken some of the hand carved details such as the acanthus leaves. The benefit of the antique finish is that as the consumer uses the chest if they should happen to nick or damage the finish while cleaning or moving it that they can easily repair the spot by just using s simple touch-up pen and rubbing it into the finish.
